Dr. Svendsen has been looking after the sensitive souls of unwanted donkeys for 30 years at his "Donkey Sanctuary" in Sidmouth, Devon. By attending to them lovingly and with professional skill, Dr. Svendsen restores the health of orphaned and maltreated donkeys and prepares them for freedom.
She has already taken in some 8,000 donkeys at her Donkey Sanctuary and nursed them back to health. She has been able to hand many of them on to new, responsible owners. |
